Nature Walks

With the weather so glum, we have decided to take a few nature walks, or rain walks, lately. We bundle up and head out to walk around through the park. We have seen some amazing things, just here in our little neighborhood.

We have seen two hawks hunting in a swarm of starlings-very cool to watch the flock dodge and weave while the hawks dart through them trying to catch one. We see those rascaly squirrels by the dozen. We have seen some amazing mushrooms and last week we saw a coopers hawk fly by and land in our very own tree.

There is a lot to see just here in the city.
