The words just keep coming. The last month has easily tripled Jamie's vocabulary. He has so many words now its hard to keep them straight. Some are clear and obvious, like apple. Others are a little harder to understand, like when he puts on his "jews and cocks"-you might say shoes and socks, but that would be no fun.
I finally understand what it is to be a parent who understands their child's words when the rest of the world only hears noise. I am not always on the ball about my translations but here are a few quick ones to give you an idea of how confusing it all is:

- Eye= eye
- eye= ow
- ow= owl
- hawk= hawk
- ehh= egg
- peas=peas
- pee pee= pee, poop, dirty diaper
- pee pee=any multi-syllabic "p" word
- bee bee= baby
- bee bee= any multi-syllabic "b" word
- up= up
- sky= sky
- teet= teeth
- ella= elephant
- Ella=Ella
- Shala= Charlotte
- caw=bird
- caw=car
...and so on. It is so much fun to hear all his many sounds
