Yesterday we drove all the way to Monroe to berry pick. This was an activity I took completely for granted as a kid, but now it is hard to find berry fields that are still u-pick.
We went along with our neighbors a few houses down. They already are at the minivan stage of parenting, so it was the two moms and four under five. It was a lot of fun and Jamie is getting great lessons in good playing behaviors.
There was more running and snail hunting than actual berry picking, but plenty of giggles to go around.
Oh, and did I mention, a lot of eating!
