In the words of our Hedi, it was a "typical suburban conservative Jewish Passover" where all the food came out of a box or a can. It was all wonderful, though.
The best part, was part of the Seder ceremony is to consume four glasses of wine, which we did willingly. We were half schlitzed by the time the food was served. It improved our Hebrew considerably, though. It was a fun night, and we felt honored to be invited.
It was a wonderful end to our tour of major faiths that we have been on this week starting with the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu, with a little of the Pope's visit thrown in, and ending with Passover.
Since I forgot my camera, there will not be any amazing pics of the Seder plate, so enjoy this picture of an emu at the zoo from last Friday. Kyle knocked off work early and we decided to go to the zoo at four o'clock, not realizing that it was going to start SNOWING. It was cold as hell, but we had fun.

Don't emus always remind you of Passover?
